They are taken from my largest two Plum trees and the survival rate is extremely high. These are hardy trees and I suggest soaking them in water for 48 hours before planting. They may drop leaves they may not but they will grow newly-released ones as long as they are planted where there aren't any obstructions and tge soil comes up to the base of the trunk or top of root ball.
