A delightful mid-century pair of illustrated schoolbooks with whimsical covers by Carol Critchfield and inside art by Lee Hines. Designed to help students learn spelling through structured weekly lessons, these books include exercises, review sections, vocabulary tips, homonyms, and study tricks. Grade Seven even covers words prefer radar and penicillin—two groundbreaking WWII-era innovations.
