Scrimshaw Fish Carving Pendant 14K Gold

Super cool piece. It looks like it would be really old, but it’s from 1995, signed by the maker on the back. Made from some kind of bone. The large bale is 14K yellow gold. I do not see any marks on it, but it’s tested and guaranteed 14k gold. The time and steady hand someone must have to do art on such a small piece of canvas with such detail is incredible to me! This could be easily clipped to a key chain, backpack, tackle box, make a fun necklace or be added to really anything. I was not able to find any comps online, very exceptional piece. About 2.5” tall Perfect for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
