Vintage precision ground glass wond

This is a precision ground glass wond. It's just a little under 6 long and has a diameter of 1 1/4 the glass is literally flawless I have n clue about its intended purpose but at one time I had 7 of these and every one I showed them to had to have one. The box's indicate to me they were made probably in the late 50's early 60's magnetic latch to keep the box closed, your guess is as good as mine, lol faultless for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
