This delightful cherry red "Fun Factory Freestyle" vegetable bowl by Waechtersbach was made last century in Germany.

This German ceramics manufacturer was founded in 1832. The factory was located in Brachttal near Wächtersbach. 

Waechtersbach is well known for its mugs, dinnerware, and gift items with innovative designs. Vintage Waechtersbach items are highly collectable. The factory closed in 2011, so you will never have another chance to pick up this adorable item that's as valuable as use as it is for display.
