It lets you examine 45,000 stars and 13,000 deep-sky objects; it also allows you to follow 7,700 asteroids and the apparitions of 650 comets! If you have hunted down enough NGC objects and are looking for new worlds to conquer, try the asteroids. Epoch 2000 has all the features expected from a powerful desktop planetarium program. The maps are stunning when printed. If you have a CD-ROM drive, access the 15 million stars of the Hubble Guide Star Catalog to produce truly incredible finder charts.
Once you have planned your observations, use the "Observatory" mode to connect your computer via modem to a telescope on the Remote Telescope Network. Check the wind speed, rotate the dome, aim the telescope, select filters and exposure times,
