Up for sale is 100 live horsetail reed plants. They are approximately 15 inches tall from top of plant to bottom of root. Horsetail (Equisetum hyemale), also called scouring rush, is a slender, green, reed-type ornamental grass with no true leaves or flowers. It grows in swampy areas, making it a good pond plant for the home, and gets up to 4 feet tall. Horsetail grows in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 3 through 11. This is a shade plant. Can be planted in the sun if introduced a little at a time or fresh growth is started in the full sun. There can be some yellowing at the bottom of the plants nothing is wrong with them it is where they grow in the shade and in clusters and it is hard for sunlight to pick up to them, the top are good and green
